In the modern world, the intensive development of techniques imposes severe requirements on lubricating materials. Today the application of petroleum oils does not pay these requirements. Therefore, the foundation of new oil compositions on the basis of ester type oil compositions and mineral oils is of scientific and practical importance. For this purpose, monoatomic (C6 C10) and diatomic (ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, propylene glycol) alcohols were synthesized with complex esters of oil acids fractions in 250400OC, and their physical - chemical, viscosity temperature indicators were set. In order to improve the quality of T-22, T-30, T-46 turbine base oils, new oil compositions were prepared with the addition of 5-20% esters and their physical, chemical, viscosity, temperature, and thermo-oxidation stabilities were studied. It was determined that with the addition of ethers to the turbine base oils, their properties improve considerably. Thus, in the compositions prepared with the addition of nonyl ether to T-22 turbine oil, propylene glycol ether to T-30 oil, hexyl ether to T-46 oil the viscosity indexes, ignition temperatures increase, chill points fall decrease, and thermo-oxidation stabilities have considerably improves in comparison with base oils. Thus, as a result of carried research works, it should be noted that on the basis of turbine base oils by the preparation of new compositions with the addition of esters, it is possible to considerably improve their properties. If to consider that oil acids are made of industrial waste, then the cost of ethers can fall down so that it makes the improvement process of turbine oil qualities more real and perspective.
