Appropriateness of changing of natural gas composition in Siyazan field

S. Sh. Salahov

Geochemical changing appropriateness has been determined by using factual materials about the composition of natural gases. Comparison of spreading marks of different appearance forms of natural gases gives opportunity to define spreading features of natural gases in Caspian - Guba region. Caspian - Guba oil - gas region is divided into three zones according to chemical composition and appearance forms of natural gases. South - west zone is characterized with wide spread of nitrogen related with a number of mineral sources in the mountainous part of Big Caucasus. This zone in the direction of south - east covers central and foothills area of the region and passes to methane gases in the north - west direction. Siyazan oil field, perspective oil structure, mud volcanoes and mineral sources are located in this zone. The third zone covers shore edge territories in the north - east and is represented with methane and nitrogen gases. Determined appropriateness of natural gases in Siyazan gives opportunity to illuminate some geological problems from geochemical aspect.
