Investigation of factors affecting the efficiency of plunger lift taking into account connection of layer – well

The application of plunger lift for preventing paraffin sediment in lifting pipes of wells working with the method of fountain and gaslift, gives positive results. But the constructions in use are not at the adequate level and do not give the expected results. In the article, the factors affectinging the efficiency of plunger lift have been investigated, the period of up-and-down motion has been defined. The article illustrates the fact that the operation time of the plunger under the acceleration is much smaller than the constant speed, shows the dependence of the plungers up-and-down motion on its mass, geometrical dimensions, the parameters of the pump compressor pipes, rheological properties of fluid, layer parameters. Here was obtained an analytical equation to determine operating parameters for improving the concussion resistance of the spring taking into account the mass of the plunger and spring.
