At the result of detailed investigation of research-prospecting wells drilled in recent years and 2D, 3D seismic survey works geological structures of Galmaz and Khidirli-Bandovan elevations have been defined significantly in accordance with upper limits of Productive Series (PS). Based on geological mapping and structure-research drilling works data it was found that small scale anticline elevations defined on Absheron floor have been generated at the result of activity of Galmaz, Khidirli, Aghzibir and mud volcanoes, at the result of settling of arch side areas of Galmaz and Khidirli-Bandovan elevations. It was justified that abrupt differences in structure-tectonic structures of western and south-east sections of Galmaz anticline are the result of complication of Alat depth breaking of central section of north-east wing of this elevation with submeridional direction regional breaking of south-east branching. It was found that litofacial characteristics of V, VII horizons of upper section of PS and Under Girmaki strata in Galmaz and Khidirli-Bandovan areas were improved in south-east direction. As one of the main reasons of failure to obtain oil-gas streams of industrial importance from these horizons, opening of perspective facilities with heavier (2260 2720 kg/ cm3) clayey solutions was indicated. It was justified that south-east section of north-east wing of Khidirli-Bandovan elevation remaining under shallow waters is more perspective and it was recommended to define the locations of research-prospecting wells to be drilled here depending on the result obtained from applied methods of seismic surveys under shallew waters.
