Sustainable pump rods in oil extraction

The article provides information about the main reason of breaking of depth pump rods in operation process and criteria of evaluation of their reliability. Results of comparative operation of rods prepared from steels of different grade are analyzed in the article. They are recommended to be prepared from standard rod steels tempered in the air in Baku Steel Company plant.
