Geochemical properties of thermal waters of Pre-Kura Basin
S.Sh.SalahovPre-Kura Basin in the tectonic view is very difficult. The deposits Jura, Cretaceous, Paleogene (Paleocene, Eocene, Oligocene), Neogene and Quaternary systems take part in the geological structure. In geological, hydro-geological and geothermal conditions in Pre-Kura basin it is possible to allocate various forms of structure. So, in the central part of Pre-Kura Basin are allocated Dalmammedly, Durdagh, Tar-Tar, Barda, Shirvanly, Aghjabadi, Qarajala, Sor-Sor, Jarly, Muradkhanly, Beylagan, Zardab, Saatly, Sovetlyar and other areas. In these areas thermal waters of different stratigraphic complexes have been defined and studied. On the basin thermal waters temperature on wellheads reaches up to 95С, and discharge 15000 m3/day (Jarly area, the well No3). According to the chemical content these waters are of chloride-natrium composition, and by gas content - methane. In the content of waters there are various micro-components, including iodine of 27,1 mg/l and bromine of 76,4 mg/l.
