Identification of depression limit saving bottom-hole zone and production casing perforated zone steadiness
Q.A. RzayevDuring the completion of impermeable layers takes place the breaking of bottom-hole zone steadiness. Sand-clay mixture in large quantity penetrates from the layer into the well that causes plug formation in the casing, its deformation, and also other complications occurrence. At the final stage of oil fields development the bottom-hole zone destruction and deformation of production casing occur much more frequently if the productive series are composed of impermeable silt (clay) collectors. Carried out research works show that while well completion in order to maintain the integrity of bottom-hole zone, the value of given depression in the formation should correspond the rock destruction resistance. In the result of conducted theoretical and experimental studies to determine the optimal level of depression that occurs during completion in different parts of productive layer were obtained empirical formulas. Calculations showed that the depression values, calculated by empirical formulas considerably smaller than the true value of depression.
