Perspective of study on Oligocene-Miocene deposits of oil and gas fields

Oligocene-Miocene deposits being collectors which are able to retain hydrocarbon collections in section besides being one of the main oil-gas generating complexes based on analysis of structural-lithofacial, structural-tectonic, hydro-geochemical, thermobaric and other properties of Pliocene, Oligocene - Miocene and underlying deposits is specified in the article. Also the role of Oligocene - Miocene deposits in generation of oil and gas collections in other deposit complexes being in direct contact with them is highly estimated and it is recommended to study them as facilities with independent perspective in oil-gas-research.
