Some characteristics of alkylation reactions of phenol with cyclo-dimers of isoprene through application of phosphorus content zeolite catalyser
J.I. Allahverdiyev. A.H. AzizovThe article deals with study of alkylation reactions of phenol with presence of zeolite catalyser saturated with o-phosphate acid with duprene, dipentene, 160180 OC fraction of cyclo-dimers of isoprene, and analysis of impact of different factors on output and selectivity of targeted products. In order to determine efficient output and selectivity of -cycloalkylphenols impact of reaction temperature, mole correlations of primary raw materials, time and the amount of catalyser on the development of process was studied. At the result of study, optimum conditions was found for alkylation reaction of phenol with duprene in presence of phosphorus content zeolite catalyser, so, output of 10% targeted product of catalyser is 84.7%, and selectivity is 95.8% under 120 OC temperature, in 1:1 mole correlation of phenol with duprene, within time period of 6 hours. Boiling and melting points, mole mass of -cycloalkylphenol was defined on duprene basis. Accordingly alkylation reactions of phenol with dipentene and 160180 OC fraction of cyclo-dimer of isoprene with presence of phosphorus content zeolite catalyser were studied. It was found that under optimum condition revealed the output of p-cycloalkylphenols is 81.884.3%, and selectivity is 92.693.7%. Physical-chemical properties of synthesized p-cycloalkylphenols were defined, chemical structures were confirmed through IQ and PMR spectroscopic methods.
