Gas features of Azerbaijan Republic thermal waters

Here are brought the chemical content of Azerbaijan Republic water dissolved gases (methane, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, heavy hydrocarbons) by Nardaran, Khudat, Yalama, Garabaghly and other areas. According to the results of carried out works on the Republic territory have been marked following areas of natural gases spreading following thermal waters: Absheron (methane), Talysh-Lenkaran (methane-nitric), Alazan-Aghrychay (nitrogen-hydrosulphuric), Pre-Caspian-Guba (methane-nitric), Istisu-Kalbajar (carbonic) and Nakhchivan (carbon-nitric). By results of the conducted works the following regions of natural gases spreading tracking thermal waters have been allocated on the following territories of the Azerbaijan Republic: Absheron (methane), Talyish-Lankaran (methane-nitric), Alazan-Agrychay (nitrogen-hydrosulphuric), Pre-Caspian-Guba (methane-nitric), Istisu-Kalbajar (carbonic) and Nakhchivan (carbon-nitric). Deep tests of gas from Absheron layer deposits and PS have been selected by means of samplers.
