Development History of South Caspian Depression till Pliocene

South Caspian depression (SCD) being consisted of deposits of great depth (24 km), especially was subject to intensive depression in Neocene-Fourth Period. So, the depth of only Pliocene-Fourth period reaches 10 km here. Structure of SCD till Pliocene is studied here, role of Godin uplift is justified in formation of its Pliocene-Fourth Period structure in different directions.
