Development of use technology of modern floating drilling devices in the deep areas of Caspian Sea
V.F. MammadovOily-gaseous srtuctures have already been discovered and the same fields are exploited with usual method in shallow areas of Baku and Absheron archipelagos. Discovery of available perspective structures in deep areas of the sea is the base of main targets and implementation of submarine developing strategy of discovered fields is considered one of the most important problems. Carrying out of these projects without delay and in safe condition will give opportunity to the country to discover extra oil and gas resources and to increase daily production. For implementation of these works it is necessary to expand park of new, advance semi submersible floating drill devices or floating drillships. With this purpose consruction of new devices is expedient. From this point of view semi submersible floating drill devices should be prefered. So floating drillship with the DP system which is run through satellites makes an error in 500-700m water depth, therefore , it makes potensial risk for controlling of riser system during drilling operation from subsea manifold. New semi submersible floating drill devices must be supplied with 6 generation drilling, operation and marine equipments, they must be constructed in the basis of projects which can make technical condition for placing of 20 000psi (1400) submarine prevents blok and installation of DP system. New, advance devices should make condition not only to investigation-exporation, but also can be used as lifting crane in drilling exploitation wells for submarine operation, lowering submarine manifolds, fountain reinforcements and other subsea infrostructure elements into the bottom of the sea. To take into account factors in the article it must be noted that demand for floating drill devices of Caspian sea in Azerbaijan sector and generally in Caspian basin will increase in near 10 years and amount of those devices will reach up to 3-5.
