World gas resources, total production and Azerbaijan role in this direction

Approved hydrocarbon resources of Azerbaijan both onshore and offshore make 1.7 billion m3. Together with explored and possible reserves this capacity is estimated in 7.5 billion m3. The mentioned capacity makes 1.34 % from the total world reserves. It is necessary to note that during last 20 years on the territory of 20 countries which were not gas producers before, are discovered gas-condensate fields of industry value and some of them have been brought into development.
