The article deals with the data on need in synthetic oils in while and in essential oils particularly. Here have been shown the advantages of synthetic oils before petroleum (mineral) oils. Essential oil in generally are based on dicarboxylic acids essentials, such as sebacic, adipinic, azelaic, decane dicarboxylic. Different methods of obtaining these acids are described. The method of obtaining the complicated essentials of alkelyn succanic acid is suggested. Also have been studied their physical-chemical viscous-temperature properties dependence on chemical structure. It has been established that the by the physical-chemical and exploitation properties the synthetic oils, obtained on the basis of alkelyn succanic acid essentials do not step back before now applied industrial oils.
