About repelling “Relay” surface wave in 2D seismic works

Findings of study carried out by testing on defining the dependence of effectiveness of repelling Relay surface wave in 2D works on one of the geophysical research fields in Gobustan from alteration of speed characteristics of low speeds zone along the profile, dimensions of grouping parameters of seismic receptors, application of one and two dimensional filters are explained in the article. According to the frequency property of grouping it was found that in group basis of speed gradient of surface wave at constant 0.076 %, 0.2 %, 0.3 % and 0.4 % limits, the effectiveness of grouping is reduced 14 %, 32 %, 39 % and 46 % respectively. And repelling of surface wave by two dimensional filters in processing process is not considered advisable especially on areas with high speed gradient due to perversion of seismic records.
