Application of polymer-disperse in the development of oil fields
N. N. HamidovIn recent years the interest in development of polymer-disperse systems for covering the productive layers with injected water has increased considerably. These systems provide precipitation of polymer mineral complexes in porosities by reducing permeability of water-cut intervals. This reduces the degree of heterogeneity of reservoirs, ensures the areal and cross-sectional distribution of injected water, in the result of this, productivity and oil production increase. Analysis of scientific works dedicated to the investigation of polymer-disperse systems and their research in the oil fields consisting of heterogeneous reservoirs indicates that injection of these systems in combination with water gives high effects. By analyzing oil fields of Azerbaijan, especially geological structure of offshore fields, geophysical features of productive layers, physical-chemical properties of their rocks, it is possible to say that development of new polymer-disperse systems and their application in the oil fields characterized with last stage of development and lower recovery factor will give high economical effect.
