Methods of increasing tightness in thread connections of pipes

Currently, according to the technical instructions except application of deficit and toxic components, polyethylene rings were used in pipes as thread tighteners. Laboratory and plant tests indicated that firmness of polyethylene tightening rings are satisfactory against friction and they ensure tightness of thread connection of protection pipes under 70 MPa pressure.
