Synthesis of cyclohexylnorbornan and its methyl substituting derivations as component of reactive fuels
M.K. MammadovDifferent initiators: combination reaction of norbornen and methyl norbornen to cyclo-hexane and its methyl substituting derivation was studied with contribution of benzoyl peroxide, dinitrile nit-bis-iso-oil acid and di-triple- butylperoxide. As the most advantageous of used initiators was di-triple- butyl-peroxide, combination reaction was performed with its presence and at the result cyclohexylnorbornan and its methyl derivations were synthesized with 71.9-78.5% output. It was found that synthesized hydrocarbons consist of two medium endo and exo-isomers. Derived isomer mixture was heated in digester under 200-210 оC and it was turned only into exo-isomer. Physical-chemical characteristics of synthesized substances were studied, their structure was confirmed and at the result hydrocarbons with high density and energy were synthesized. Results indicated that synthesized cyclohexylnorbornan hydrocarbons may be used as component in reactive fuels.
