Provision of new program in inventory of gases generating heating effect
A.M. HasanovWe know that solution of ecological problem depends on accurate and operative inventory taking. Importance of measures taken for prevention of global climate changes appeared at the result of anthropogenic impacts in the world is growing constantly. The main purpose is to reduce gases generating heating effect (GGHE). Main portion of wastes (more than 80 %) in Azerbaijan falls on the share of energy sector. Works are being done in the direction of inventory of GGHE sources starting from 2008 in institutions of SOCAR. Effectiveness of these works greatly depends on application of special software according to the characteristics and assignments of institutions incorporated in SOCAR. Comparative analysis of inventory of GGHE was carried out for 20072010 through new software jointly developed by specialists of DIW econ company of Germany and Department of Ecology of SOCAR for the first time. Here the purpose is to establish direct link between efficiency of measures taken by SOCAR on energy efficiency, energy saving and reduction of associated gas and reduction of GGHE. Actual wastes, carbon capacity falling on production and processing of 1 ton oil defined at the result of inventory were compared with forecast figures indicated in The Strategy of SOCAR on reduction of impact on climate changes.
