The modern seismicity model of Balakhany-Sabunchu-Ramanа oilfield based on scenario earthquakes parameters

Used synthesized accelerograms formed on the basis of simulation of seismic wave propagation processes occurred through specific ground series in order to determine the quantitative characteristics of seismic effect on the oil field region. Hard and soft rock properties were defined, seismogeneric elements were researched, and shaking of the base rock and surface ground rocks in the region was estimated. Simulation of the peak ground acceleration of the Balakhany oil field region was done for the earthquakes of the various distances. On the basis of the empirical correlation between MSK-64 and peak ground acceleration, the special distribution of intensity is provided. The modelling results can be used in the selection of the technological regime of the minerals production, planning of the construction and exploitation of the engineering facilities, reduction of the emergency situations probability and the timely informing of the population about the seismic hazard in the region.
