Displacement of residue oil via foam method from watered formation
A.M. GasimlyThe results of the research works showed that while displacing of residue oil via water in well system, when there are complicated built current paths in the layer where the pressure gradient value changes for many times, stagnant zones can appear especially in the fields with high-viscosity oils. That is why the investigations directed to current methods improvement allowing to increase coverage of the formation via working agent and thereby to displace the oil out of watered layer is of great importance. Taking into consideration mentioned above on the model of layer element with 5-spot well placement system after the oil displacement via formation water for further displacement of residue oil the foam system banks obtained from 50 % solution of licorice root plant refining residues and from the residue itself were used. In both cases bank size composed the 25 % from the volume of layer model pores, movements through the layer of which were carried out via formation waters injection. The analysis of obtained results show that applying of bank made from residue allowed to displace more than half of oil kept after the flooding.
