Cleaning of the tanks from the bottom sediments
M.A. MirzayevWhile exploitation period in course of time in tank bottom the sand and mechanical impurities are accumulated. The technological process of tanks cleaning from bottom sediments is labor-intensive and complicated. For this reason the liquid have to be unloaded from the tank untill the lowest possible level, tank degasification until the allowable limit of nonexplosive concentration under the allowable limit of tank surface gas pollution (not more than 20 % - low concentration limit of flame spread), the tank degasification until allowable concentration limit, clearing quality control, sediment utilization. With the installation of hydraulic elevator in the tank for sand catcher and trickle collector and combining their inlet with pump outputs for formation water transfer, and the hydraulic elevator outputs with the oil traps and frequent involving them into the process (2-3 times per week), it is possible to conduct the tank current cleaning from bottom sediments. Herewith there is no need for tank degasification, light and other decks, also carrying out additionally any other operation.
