Geological condition of location of VIII horizon deposit of Sangachal - Duvanni - Khara - Zira Island and estimation of condensate recovery
R. R. JafarovIn the article condition of location of VIII horizon gas condensate deposit has been studied according to the structure of Sangachal - Duvanni - Khara - Zira Island and results of thermodynamic exploration of gas condensate mixture have been analyzed in order to estimate condensate recovery factor. Short information about tectonic, thickness, oil-gaseous content of the deposit and lithological properties of collectors according to VIII horizon has been given. Size of the deposit, the initial reservoir pressure and absolute depths of gas-water circuits within blocks has been identified. Besides, geological- mine and thermo dynamic explorations of gas condensate mixture have been analyzed and condensate loss has been defined in development progress. Depending on condensate amount in the gas content condensate recovery factor has been defined with various methods (experimental or calculation). Development process in calculation method is divided into 10 stages, with extraction of equal amount of gas (10% of reserve) of each stage. According to the results of thermodynamic investigation of gas condensate mixture differential condensation curve was put up. According to the number of stages, reservoir pressure and differential condensation curve data, amount of condensate extracting at each stage was identified. After it, according to both stages and at the end of development identifying condensate recovery factor is possible. With the shown method at the end of development condensate recovery factor can be defined according to data of investigation carried out in the research discovery wells of newly discovered fields and it is very important in application of development project.
