Determination of liquid amount in gas-liquid flow
A. A. AbdullayevThe problem defining liquid phase amount in two-phase flow in gas pipeline is being looked into in the article. Reasons of liquid phase fall into gas pipeline system are being analyzed. This article deals with negative impact of liquid phase in gas flow on operation of gas pipeline and work of measure-control devices. Without creating thermodynamic and isokinetic equality with general flow in pipeline and with the sample taken from this flow, measuring results of liquid phase has been appreciated. Existence of different structure forms in movement of two-phased flow in pipeline and in this case, selection of gas flow as a sample in monometer tube above the pipeline isnt expedient. Before distribution of gas consumption, defining method of liquid phase amount in two-phased flow is suggested by using tube separator and probe structure measuring liquid phase with separated gas. It is indicated that before taking sample flow from pipeline, two-phased gas flow must be passed through separation process in tube separator and then liquid phase amount in sample flow taken from separated gas must be measured with probe liquid measuring device. Principal scheme of recommended method for determination of liquid amount in gas pipelines has been given and on the basis of it, material balance equation has been made up for defining liquid amount in gas pipeline.
