Use of zeolite and bentonite clays in the solution of environmental problems
Kh. A. AlizadehIn the article use of zeolites and bentonites in the priority and perspective areas of economy and in the protection of environment has been looked into. It has been known for a long time that zeolite and bentonite are higher-quality non-ore raw materials. In the result of scientific-research works, an idea about their physical-chemical content has expanded considerably and possibility has arisen for their use in various areas. Their main use areas: protection of environment, oil, gas, chemistry, metallurgy, construction, agriculture, and etc. they are used in drilling as absorbent and catalyst in oil and gas industry. At the same time, it allows to be released from radioactive elements in the radioactive zones.
