The systematization and analysis of Kura depression real data allowed marking the confinement of detected hydrocarbon reservoirs to the tectonically screened traps. The analysis of the geological evolution history, carried out on the basis of the seismic investigations enables to mark out the sections of hydrocarbons traps different formation, connected with disjunctive screen for forecast estimation of perspective oil and gas bearing of areas, that are not researched via drilling. Paleotectonic analysis of north-west section of Ganja OGA, which is spread through Duzdagh-Yevlakh-Ayrija and Naftalan-Garadaghly areas, using Surfer-10 program is presented as example. Developed paleo-structural map between seismic horizons CR-V and CR-Sh fixes presence of breakages on the decline of the paleo-structural elements (the local deflections and raising). So paleotectonic analysis permits to determine probable sections of breakages propagations, that have an influence on the formation and location of tectonically complicated hydrocarbon reservoirs within reviewed area.
