The role of mud volcanoes in studying the geological history of oil and gas fields

Analysis of mud volcanoes in temporal definition is presented based on the materials published in the article and information obtained from numerous structural, structural research, map development and low depth wells drilled by taking core samples in exploration area of Lower Kura depression, South-East Gobustan, Baku and Absheron archipelago and boundary regions. Outcomes of results are strictly based on core data.
