Methods of extracting residual oil reserves from oil fields under long term processing in Azerbaijan

Despite of improvement of processing technology of oil fields by wells from year to year, oil recovery coefficient of reservoirs is in the range of 0.15 0.75 and significant portion of oil remains which werent extracted from the ground. The issues of studying exactly the mining-geological conditions of such kind of fields and assessment of their reserves, improvement of present methods, and development of new methods were dealt in the article in order to extract residual oil reserves from the fields under long-term processing. Maximum development of reserve is related to increasing oil recovery coefficient and it is of great importance in extraction of residual oil reserves.
