The first Azerbaijan sea oilfields

It was shown the first in the world sea oil production in Bibi-Heybat bay carried out from two wells dug up in 18 and 30 m on offshore. The construction and drilling of the first in the world sea oil-derrick in 1924 in the Ilyich bay (at present Bail limani) and later, the drilling of a few oil-derricks in the sea were as a result of an intensive development of the Azerbaijan oil industry. Later on, in 1949 it will be built the first in the world sea town Oil Rocks (Neft Dashlari). Also, there were offered in the article the personalities-pioneers of the construction and exploitation of the first oil and gas producers hydro technical rigs on the sea depths up to 30 m.
