Arylalkylation of phenol with 130-1900 C fraction of pyrolysis liquid products in the presence of phosphorus-containing zeolite catalyst on continuously operation installation

The research results of arylalkylation reaction of phenol with 130-190 оC fraction of pyrolysis liquid products in the presence of phosphorous containing zeolite-Y catalyst saturated with ortophosphoric acid on continuously operation installation and impact of different parameters on the base product yield and selectivity are considered. In order to set optimum conditions providing the para-alkylphenol maximum discharge, the temperature, initial components molar ratio and space velocity on the process development have been studied. The base product yield composes 73.6 %, and the selectivity 95.7 %. The chromatographic research of 130-190 оC fraction of pyrolysis products before and after phenol arylalkylation reaction showed that styrene concentration in the fraction decreases from 33.65 % to 3.37%. The physical-chemical indexes of synthesized para-arylalkylphenol have been defined.
