About application prospects of invert emulsions in oil-gas fields development
M.M. AlievAs it is known, the initial equilibrium condition of hydrocarbon collectors is broken while drilling, construction and wells subsequent operation. As a result of complicated physical and chemical processes, which especially strongly appear in the near-wellbore zone of the formation, the actual permeability turns out to be much less than initial potential volume. Considering rocks clay content characteristic for Azerbaijan fields, the mechanism of clayey minerals swelling, the basis of which compose ion-exchange processes are reviewed. With the aim of initial collectors properties preservation, while conducting the technological processes in the well the applying of compositions on hydrocarbon basis (invert emulsions) is offered. The spheres of invert emulsions possible applying are marked. Particularly, the results of laboratory researches on water flow limitation, which cause either plugging, or changing of surface porosity channels physical properties (their hydrophobization) are brought.
