The improvement of the technology of gas preparation for transportation in underground storages
A.I. AliyevaThe results of low-temperature separator process technological regime and the equipment used in gas injection and selection in Garadagh Underground Storage (UGS) are provided. It was defined that the low-temperature separator does not provide the quality for selected from UGS gas. Therefore, the preparation of gas for transportation needs upgrading and development of optimum technological operation process. It was revealed that in connection with the changing of selected gas thermodynamic parameters in the transportation system the presence of hydrates is observed. To improve the technologies of gas preparation in UGS the development and introduction of up-to-date chemical reagents with the aim of increasing the reliability and quality of gas prepared for transportation are necessary. The results of scientific-research works on the improvement of preparation and quality of selected gas from UGS in compliance with industrial selection standard requirements are provided. A new absorbent for gas dehydration and hydrate formation preventing has been developed based on monoethylene glycol. Its consumption rate has also been presented. The absorbent optimum technological parameters and low-temperature gas separator have been defined.
