Improvement of drilling technologies from underwater manifold in Caspian Sea deepwater parts

BakirovCarrying out of drilling works and development in prospective structures with large natural hydrocarbon recourses in deepwater parts of Caspian Sea Azerbaijan sector is of great importance. This, first of all, is connected with the well drilling from underwater manifolds and field development with application of underwater production technology. The application of this technology in deepwater of Caspian Sea Azerbaijan sector via floating drilling units or drilling ships provided with dynamic positioning system of preventing equipment working in 100-140 MPa pressure, up-to-date technical means, equipments, two-gradient drilling method is considered appropriate. The ways of developing of secure and economically rational usage of working time regime while drilling of wells from underwater manifolds, the principles of underwater manifold installation on the sea bottom with favorable relief, anchoring of semi-submerged drilling units are described, wells optimum configuration and progressive technology application are offered.
