Development of new corrosion inhibitor-bactericide
A.V. AhmadovaThe protection of well oil field equipment and oil transportation system from common and microbiologic corrosion during operation is an urgent task. Taking into account specified above, in the result of laboratory studies a new bactericide-inhibitor based on high monobasic saturated organic acids has been developed. Corrosion rate decrease occurs due to that bactericide-inhibitor forms a sealing hydrophobic skin on metal surface that isolates the surface from environment aggressive impact. The optimum concentration of reagent composes 500 mg/l. Bactericide-inhibitor field tests were carried out in Bibiheybat Oil and Gas Production Board in well No3293.
