The ways of motor oils’ improvement
N.D. HuseynovaOne of the motor oils quality improvement is the method of physical-chemical purification. Physical purification is conducted with phenol, furfural, morpholin formiate, and the chemical purification with acid and alkali. The purification of distillates via above-mentioned methods do not meet the requirements from the ecological point of view. The practice showed that for fundamental improvement of motor oils quality it is necessary to use additives of multifunctional action as INKH-21, IKHP 101, AKI 114 and etc. For preparation of above-mentioned additives is used product of condensation of alkylphenol with formaldehyde in the presence of hydrochloric acid, but equipment undergoes corrosion. Taking into consideration these lacks was developed the product of catalyst condensation with formaldehyde in the presence of catalyst.
