Composite materials in oil industry
I. M. IsayevAs a result of scientific researches and experimental tests it was established that the composite materials are applicable in repair and renewal operations at different sides of oil industry, including rack and platforms. It was defined that via covering metallical surfaces underwent corrosion with composite materials it is possible to increase mechanical and corrosion resistence of these metallical constructions. The trial surveys were conducted in Oil and Gas Production Board named after N. Narimanov, in the result of which lattice girder, beam and trestle support were laminated with composite materials. Via constructions loading by iron concrete, statistic tests were carried out. The trestle laminated with composite materials took the load in 420 kN (tons). The lattice girder laminated by composite materials was tansferred to Zigh iron concrete product plant, where stand tests were conducted. Maximum loading reached to 1000 kN (100 tons). Carried out field, plant and laboratory tests shown that it is possible to apply beam channel, pipes, fittings, angles, beams and the other construction elements made of composite materials in repair and restore operations. Heavy machinery and mechanisms are not used in technology introduction.
