The study of reaction of polyisobutylene and methylmetaakrilat modification
Kh.Sh. HajiahmadzadehPolymeric compositions are irreplaceable sources of raw materials including for oil chemicals and oil refinery, also other spheres of industry. At that, major direction is the studying of structure and properties of modified polymeric materials. Chemical modification of polymers, in particular polyisobutylene (PIB) is considered to be the most effective way among the modification of polymeric materials with different monomers. As a result of chemical modification graft-polyemers containing special functional groups, giving necessary properties to polymers, have been obtained. The content (PIB-PMMA) obtained in graft copolymerization of methylmetaakrilat with polyisobutylene has been studied by us. Copolymers PIB-PMMA have a special property allowing to obtain polymeric compositions that are raw material for different industry spheres.
