The results of monoesters synthesis on the basis of trimethylolpropane and a-naphthylacetic acid are presented. The products output maximal yield (75.2 %) is reached at the catalyst nano-TiO2 (PC-500) dosage 1.2 % wt.%, the ratio of alcohol: acid - 5:1, temperature range 80-90 0C, reaction time 6 hours. Composition, structure and physical-chemical indexes have been determined via IR spectroscopy and analytical methods. The application of heterogeneous nanocatalyst allows to simplify significantly the obtaining of ethers due to elimination of intermediate stages of etherification and to increase the monoesters yield for 10 % compared with ethers yield reaction with commercial TiO2.
