The prediction of horizontal well performance on the basis of reservoir and well model
M.A. HuseynovRecently horizontal wells are widely applied in exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits. The main advantage of horizontal wells is the enlargement of well borehole contact with collector, due to which the well flow rate increases and the pressure on the layer drops. Via up-to-date software, the 3D geological model of Pereriva Suite of IX tectonic block in Gunashly field is developed, and a horizontal exploitation well designed. On the basis of built model of this well, production parameters are forecasted depending on changing of layer and wellhead pressures, diameter of tubing and capacity of injected gas by gas-lift exploitation method.
