The investigation of 2-hydroxy-5-tret.alkylthiophenols and some of their derivatives as anticorrosive additives to lubricating oils
M.M. MovsumzadehWith the increase of output of oils from sulfuric petroleum, the issue of corrosion protection becomes urgent. In order to prevent or minimize the corrosion, anticorrosion additives are added into the oils. Previously synthesized by us 2-hidroxy-5-tret-alkylthiophenols and their nitrogen-, sulfur- and phosphorous substituted derivatives were studied as anticorrosive additives to D-11 diesel oil. It was established that some of above-mentioned additives show high anticorrosion effect.
