On conception of geological exploration works on treatment of hydrocarbon resources in Azerbaijan
A. A. FeyzullayevIn the article are briefly described questions substantiating of geological exploration work directions to be conducted on treatment of hydrocarbon resources in Azerbaijan. It is put forward an opinion that treatment of hydrocarbon resources from industrial point of view in the long-term main direction of geological exploration works will be Lower Pliocene (Productive Series) sediments while Miocene-Paleogene and Mesozoic sediments will serve as additional directions. Complications of geological conditions, first of all, increase bedding depths of productive objects will be connected with high geological and technological risks that should be provided in advance. To improve the efficiency of exploration, the authors proposed sharp increase volume in 2D and 3D seismic survey respectively at the regional and detailed stages.
