Sidetrack drilling in inactive wells to enhance oil recovery

IsmayilovThe analysis of inactive well stock for oil-gas production enterprises of Azneft Production Union has been carried out and representative engagements of foreign oil companies in sidetracking and their feasibility given in order to recover residue stocks, for hydrocarbon production increase and enhanced oil recovery in old oil fields of Azerbaijan. The advantages and efficiency of up-to-date technologies availability for fast and high-quality sidetracking are noted. A classification of inactive wells for Azneft PU, their selection criteria for reclamation by kickoff and sidetracking have been given using modern technologies and increase in inactive well restoration proposed.
