Current ecological problems raise importance and justify validity of scientific researches in the field of environmental protection. Partial solution of the problem is achievable by re-using of large amount of used lubrication oil from different parts of transportation vehicles and machinery plants. The paper provides the results and conclusion of research performed to investigate the possibility of re-using of used Musella-40 motor oil samples with different run periods (1500-1600 hours), which is applied at spark generators operating at high rpm in modern power plants.
