The research of oil displacement in porous medium using carbon dioxide
K.I. MustafayevDisplacement of oil by CO2 is one of the most actual issues. When CO2 is dissolved in water, it increases viscosity of the water and in oil increases its mobility. With efficiency of CO2, the coefficient of formation oil recovery rises. The effect of oil recovery coefficient increase is based on the ability of dissolve of carbon dioxide either in oil, or in the water.
