A unique procedure for off-shore projects in post-Soviet space was conducted in Umid-12 well. In complicated geological conditions using oil based drilling mud with density in 2120-2180 kg/m3 by means of window, cutted in intermediate casing string with diameter in 0.254 m, a liner with large diameter (0.194 m) was successfully lowered on design depth of 5805 m in side hole drilled in 48725805 m interval, and afterwards the well was cemented. The experience obtained in performing of works in Umid-12 well will allow to minimize risks of high financial and time lost, characteristic for drilling of deep off-shore wells in complicated mountain-geological conditions.
