The method of selection of optimum depth for submergence of pump into the liquid in the drowned sucker rod-pumping wells is offered. The essence of offered method is as follows. The depth of pump submergence into the liquid in operating drowned well changes for several (3-4) times. Such variations can appear either due to the change of rod hanger depth, or by the change of selection regime of fluid from well. The change of fluid selection regime may be conducted via changing the number of oscillations on conventional pumping unit per minute or length of borehole pump stroke. Besides, it is quite possible to change the borehole pump diameter. By means of Kvantor-T software and hardware complex, the depth of dynamic level of fluid in the well is measured in each changed regime of flow after recovery of set flow regime; oil and fluid production rate are defined. The obtained data are recorded in the table and the graphics of oil and flow rate changing by the depth of pump submergence into the liquid are being made on these data. The optimum value of pump submergence depth, in which the well gives maximum possible oil production and minimum flow rates, is defined via these graphics.
