Litofacial correlation of Productive Series along regional seismic profile within chronostratigraphic boundaries of South Caspian Basin in Absheron-Pribalkhan zone

MahmudovThe litofacial correlation of three (Pereriva, Upper Kirmaki Clay and Upper Kirmaki Sand Suites) of Productive Series along regional seismic profile within chronostratigraphic boundaries of South Caspian Basin in Absheron-Pribalkhan tectonic zone has been considered. It is known that within the structures the phases corresponding to already traced boundaries could be traced based on well logging data. For this purpose the phases within the boundaries Pereriva, UKC and UKS Suites along the seismic profile passing through well section have been identified and traced accordingly. On the basis of logging data effective porosity value has been calculated, bar charts of its changing in depth made and facial scheme of sediments provided. Facies variability of suite sediments separately for Guneshly, Azeri, Kepez structures located along a profile, has been investigated.
