On some directions of drilling mud properties regulation

AshurovaThe success of well drilling in complicated conditions for mostly depends on right choice of drilling mud type and regulation of its structural-mechanical and colloid-chemical properties. Despite of various chemical reagents and materials application in well drilling process on and offshore in Azerbaijan, today it is necessary to pay special attention to development and usage of energy saving technologies, especially new compositions based on production wastes. A technology of developing PC-1 and PC-2 reagents composition, raw basis that consists of agro-industrial complex production wastes is offered. The investigations on offered compositions influence on structural-rheological and filtration properties of drilling mud types, developed in laboratory conditions and selected from being drilled wells have been carried out. The control possibility of drilling mud properties on the basis of new reagents, are shown.
