The influence of multi-functional inhibitor on corrosion-mechanical wear of oil field equipment

HamidovaOn the basis of fatty acids, technical phospholipids and dimetylethanolamine, an inhibitor of complex action that effectively slows down corrosion and decreases erosion destruction among friction parts of well equipment, has been developed. Laboratory tests justified that due to inhibitor applying as a lubricant, general wear of hardened steel decreased for 57.5 %. Field tests conducted in Bibi-Heybat OGPB showed that as a result of inhibitor applying, protection degree of concentrate in 500 mg/l was 90-92 %. Herewith, the amount of repairs decreased for 3 times, while overhaul life increased for 2.5 times.
