A bactericide-inhibitor based on fatty acids, dimetylethanol and monoester obtained from naphthenic acids and cubic residues of polypropilenglycol has been developed for corrosion protection of oilfield equipment. The laboratory researches showed that in optimum concentration of 400-500 mg/l, the degree of corrosion protection comprises 90-96 %. This reagent is also effective as a bactericide. Thereby, the suppression degree reaches up to 92-97 %. In conditions of tests carried out in wells No 1253 and 1483 in OGPB named after H.Z.Taghiyev, the degree of protection from general and microbiological corrosions in concentration of 500 mg/l compоses 89-91 %.
